✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 784 ✨
ਮਿਠ ਬੋਲੜਾ ਜੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੋਰਾ ॥
ਹਉ ਸੰਮਲਿ ਥਕੀ ਜੀ ਓਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਬੋਲੈ ਕਉਰਾ ॥
मिठ बोलड़ा जी हरि सजणु सुआमी मोरा ॥
हउ संमलि थकी जी ओहु कदे न बोलै कउरा ॥
Mith bolṛaa jee har sajaṇ suaamee moraa.
Hao sammal ṫhakee jee oh kaḋé na bolae kauraa.
🌿 Meaning (English):
My Dear Lord and Master, my Friend, always speaks sweetly. I have tested Him again and again, yet He never speaks harshly to me.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ):
ਮੇਰਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਪਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੌੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
मेरा प्रभु, जो मेरा मित्र और स्वामी है, सदा मीठा बोलता है। मैंने उसे कई बार परखा, फिर भी उसने कभी कठोर वचन नहीं कहे।
💫 Reflection:
Guru Sahib beautifully describes the loving and compassionate nature of Waheguru. Even when we make mistakes, forget Him, or become lost in worldly distractions, the Divine continues to guide us with patience, kindness, and mercy.
Human relationships can sometimes disappoint us, but Waheguru’s love never becomes harsh or bitter. Gurbani reminds us that the more we connect with Naam and Divine wisdom, the more sweetness, peace, and compassion begin to grow within our own hearts as well.
