ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇੜੀ ਸਚ ਕੀ ਤਰੀਐ ਗੁਰ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥ ਇਕਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਇਕਿ ਜਾਵਹੀ ਪੂਰਿ ਭਰੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਿ ॥ ਮਨਹਠਿ ਮਤੀ ਬੂਡੀਐ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਚੁ ਸੁ ਤਾਰਿ ॥   नानक बेड़ी सच की तरीऐ गुर वीचारि ॥ इकि आवहि इकि जावही पूरि भरे अहंकारि ॥ मनहठि मती बूडीऐ गुरमुखि सचु सु तारि ॥   Nānak beṛī sacẖ kī ṯarīai gur vīcẖār. Ik āvahi ik jāvhī pūr bẖare ahaʼnkār. Manhaṯẖ maṯī būdīai gurmukẖ sacẖ so ṯār.   O Nanak, the Boat of Truth will ferry you across; contemplate the Guru. Some come, and some go; they are totally filled with egotism. ਮਾਤ ਗਰਭ ਮਹਿ ਆਪਨ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਦੇ ਤਹ ਤੁਮ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੇ ॥ ਪਾਵਕ ਸਾਗਰ ਅਥਾਹ ਲਹਰਿ ਮਹਿ ਤਾਰਹੁ ਤਾਰਨਹਾਰੇ ॥   मात गरभ महि आपन सिमरनु दे तह तुम राखनहारे ॥ पावक सागर अथाह लहरि महि तारहु तारनहारे ॥   Māṯ garabẖ mėh āpan simran ḏe ṯah ṯum rākẖanhāre. Pāvak sāgar athāh lahar mėh ṯārahu ṯāranhāre.   In our mother's womb, You blessed us with Your meditative remembrance, and You preserved us there. ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਵਡ ਊਚ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥ ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾ ॥ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਮਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਲਵੈ ਨ ਲਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥ प्रभु समरथु वड ऊच अपारा ॥ नउ निधि नामु भरे भंडारा ॥आदि अंति मधि प्रभु सोई दूजा लवै न लाई जीउ ॥ Parabẖ samrath vad ūcẖ apārā. Nao niḏẖ nām bẖare bẖandārā. Āḏ anṯ maḏẖ parabẖ soī ḏūjā lavai na lāī jīo. God is All-powerful, Vast, Lofty and Infinite. The Naam is overflowing with the nine treasures. In the beginning, in the middle, and in the end, there is God. Nothing else even comes close to Him....
